I've been leading digital product transformation and evolution for 25 years.
My Timeline
I recall launching my first website in the mid 90s when the Internet wasn't a household name, AOL was cool, and UX didn't exist (at least we didn't know it did). We blazed new trails and claimed the title 'webmaster'.
2020 - 2024 : FARM CREDIT SERVICES OF AMERICA
As Senior Vice President of Digital Strategy, oversaw digital products and services, experience design, and digital partnerships, guiding the company’s digital transformation with hundreds of millions in loans being driven through the digital channel and billions in partner distribution channels.
2019 - 2020 : TD AMERITRADE'S INNOVATION INCUBATOR
As a Co-Founder and UX Lead, uncovered new business and product opportunities within the alternative investment space through the utilization of a 'lean startup' innovation framework.
2017 - 2018 : PRIVATE DEFENSE & SPACE CONTRACTOR
Led the experience design and product management disciplines in the definition of an enterprise product lifecycle management program.
2016 : MB FINANCIAL
Oversaw the discovery, design, and build efforts for the .com redesign including user research, nav map architecture & wireframes, and designing the new 'look-and-feel' to evolve their digital footprint utilizing Sitecore.
2016 : STATE FARM
Facilitated ideation workshops with the Innovation Team to uncover new product opportunities which included guidance of a build, measure, learn framework for a Native Mobile MVP.
2015 : ABBVIE
Led a digital audit of the existing .com property to identify areas of opportunity, challenges, and potential reuse to transform the site to a responsive solution.
2014 - 2015 : ALLSTATE
Guided the product lifecycle via experience research and design through co-design sessions, ethnographic research, interaction design and visual design across web and native mobile.
2012 - 2013 : ANIXTER
Created a Strategic Roadmap and led an experience design team to deliver an enterprise-wide order entry application.
2012 - 2013 : UL
Crafted the strategic direction and design for a supply chain portal (SaaS) managing the safety regulations for the delivery process of 1.5 billion toys on annual basis.
2011 : SENTRY INSURANCE
Evangelized the value of experience design and led internal teams in the evolution of their strategic roadmap and delivery of digital products.
2010 - 2011 : ALLSTATE
Performed competitive analysis and conducted a heuristic audit of their mobile product suite driving new opportunties and refined success metrics.
2010 : OFFICEMAX
Redefined the user experience for key segments of the B2B web site and led the design efforts for the Order Online-Pickup in Store Program, Reward Program, and Resource Center Microsites.
2009 : WALGREENS
Focused on interaction design to enhance the order status experience and support the delivery of the new Order Online-Pickup in Store offering.
2008 - 2010 : ARGOSY UNIVERSITY
Defined an online reputation management strategy leveraging landing pages and social channels to deliver measurable cost per lead and cost per acquisition metrics.
2007 - 2008 : DeVRY UNIVERSITY
Evaluated Oracle Portal as a solution for the student finance web site and established a comprehensive current-to-future state roadmap.
2006 : PILLAR DATA SYSTEMS
Collaborated with management to generate use cases, navigation maps, wire frames, and content sets for the launch of their unified web portal (BEA/Interwoven).
2003 - 2006 : CVS/CAREMARK
Led the holistic digital transformation efforts across a myriad of mission critical initiatives for B2C and B2B utilizing IBM Portal and Stellent.
2002 - 2003 : NORTHERN TRUST
Defined an enterprise content management strategy leveraging Interwoven and Broadvsion to provide dynamic content delivery through a unified portal interface.
2000 - 2001 : ABN AMRO NA
Refined the business case and led the evolution of their Cash Management Offerings utilizing Broadvision.
1995 - 2000 : THE OLD DAYS
Led digital transformation and experience design efforts delivering digital solutions for clients including Morningstar, Hewitt, iExplore, Rush Medical Center, and others.
